Some of you have asked about the Revelation book and the first draft is in editing and is due out in August. In the meantime, I am excited to announce the release of my very first book: Father of Lights: Daily Meditations for New Dads. Although it has nothing to do with Old Testament Allusions, it is a project I have worked and and poured my heart into for a few years.
When I became a Dad almost 5 years ago, God profoundly used fatherhood to help me better understand who he is as The Father. Knowing a lot of things about him theologically began to be worked out in my life as I loved and fathered my girls over the past few years. This book is a collection of devotions connecting the grand reality of God as Father with the day in day out call to be a father to our kids. I have also included contributions from two fellow friends and pastors on adoption. I hope this book will encourage you and increase your affections for the Father of Lights (James 1:17).
